Vole: Food and Health

Season 2 Episode 26 | 59s

Chris and Martin are in the subnivean zone, wondering what the voles eat since they are surrounded by snow. After taking a better look, they spot a group of voles munching on bark from trees and bushes that grow through the snow. Chris takes a bite out of some bark and discovers that it doesn't taste as good for him as it does for the voles - yuck!
