Welder Wildlife Refuge Birding Trip
Welder Wildlife Foundation

Is there a nature lover in your life? If so, listen up. From the Welder Wildlife Foundation comes this one day guided birding trip for up to ten people at the Welder Wildlife Refuge just north of Sinton. It’s valued at six hundred dollars.

Bring a picnic lunch and eight to twelve friends for a guided tour of the refuge and the Welder Wildlife Foundation Headquarters. You’ll explore many of the refuge’s sixteen plant communities that provide habitat for the more than three hundred and seventy species of birds that are migrants or residents. In addition, you may see alligators, javelinas, white-tailed deer—maybe even a bobcat. You’ll also get to see the massive collection of bird specimens donated by premier taxidermist Don Bowman, featuring specimens of two extinct birds.

The winning bidder will tour the facilities on a weekday with advance notice needed. Blackout dates for this item are from December 15, 2014 through
January 3, 2015. This offer expires May 31, 2015. It is not exchangeable.
