THE SHAPE OF
TEXAS

The Shape of Texas is a series of two-minute audio features
produced for radio that highlight contemporary and historic
architecture and places that define our unique Texas culture. The
program is broadcast on public radio stations in several markets
across the state. Check with your local public radio station for
broadcast schedules.
The mission of The Shape of Texas is to raise public
awareness about the value of architecture within our communities, and
to demonstrate how and what we build profoundly affects the way Texans
live, work, and play. Begun in 1997, The Shape of Texas has
featured many well-known buildings, as well as many that may be
unfamiliar to even well-traveled Texans.
