A Special auction item is an auction item valued at $600 and above.
What are the benefits of contributing a Special auction item?
Your donation guarantees a series of airings of a 45-second spot, produced by KEDT, highlighting the auction item and your company name or logo (number and type of spots is based on value of donation). Your company will be featured with a vast array of business and community leaders already enjoying the benefits of supporting
Public television in South Texas. All donations are tax-deductible.
What are the categories and specific benefits of Specials auction items?
 Specials Board – Value $600 - $2499
¨ Receive a series of 45-second airings of your still-store or live spot. The number of presentations will increase with the value of the donation for a maximum of nine presentations.
¨ Item will be featured between one and four nights based on value & item popularity.
¨ Items valued at $1,000 and up will receive a radio mention on KEDT 90.3.
Dream Board – Value $2,500 - $4,999
¨ Receive a minimum of twelve, 45-second airings of your videotaped spot.
¨ KEDT will send a production crew to tape your auction item or will work with existing production as quality and PBS guidelines allow.
¨ Item will be featured for at least six nights.
¨ Item will receive a minimum of three mentions on KEDT 90.3.
¨ Donor will receive an on-air radio interview.
Fantasy Board – Value $5,000 and Up
¨ Receive a minimum of twenty-four, 45-second airings of your videotaped spot.
¨ Item will be featured every night of the auction.
¨ Donor will receive a live on-air television interview during the auction.
¨ KEDT will send a production crew to tape your auction item or will work with existing production as quality and PBS guidelines allow.
¨ Item will receive a minimum of six mentions on KEDT 90.3.
¨ Donor will receive an on-air radio interview.
