This rousing concert celebration of Irish, country, gospel, rock, movie tunes and longtime fan favorites includes performances of “Que Sera, Sera,” “That’s Amore,” “Our Anniversary,” “Silver Wings,” “Blaze of Glory” and many more. Joining Daniel on stage is his six-piece band, back-up vocalists, and singing partner of 26 years, Mary Duff.
March 1 @ 8:30pm – Great Performances: Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers
Comedy legend Steve Martin is now in the fifth decade of a varied and accomplished career as a comic, actor, author and playwright. He is also a Grammy-winning, boundary-pushing bluegrass banjoist and songwriter. GREAT PERFORMANCES turns the spotlight on Martin’s musical side with a concert performance of his new collaboration with Edie Brickell, who initially burst onto the national scene in the late 80s fronting the New Bohemians. Although these new musical partners have already built respected individual bodies of work, their inaugural effort is a charming departure, as well as a creative milestone. Backed by the virtuoso playing of the Steep Canyon Rangers, the duo partner on a series of new songs that combine Martin’s inventive five-string banjo playing with Brickell’s heart-tugging vocals to create a playful and accessible collection of songs.

Dazzling performances from some of the biggest names in rock and blues history, including Stevie Ray Vaughan, Dr. John, Bo Diddley, Ronnie Wood, Delbert McClinton, Sam Moore, Percy Sledge and more, are featured in this world television premiere of a concert taped in 1989 and presumed lost for nearly 20 years.
March 2 @ 7pm – Titanic: Band of Courage
Explore the dramatic and inspiring story of the eight musicians who continued to play as the Titanic went down. Their story is told through new recordings of songs from the White Star Songbook, along with archival photos and interviews with experts on the tragedy, the era and its music, offering insight into the musicians and why the courageous men continued to play until the end.

Taking viewers from front row center to backstage, the special captures the historic, once-in-a-lifetime concert as many of the greatest names in popular music — including The Band, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Roseanne Cash, Eric Clapton, Shawn Colvin, George Harrison, Richie Havens, Roger McGuinn, John Mellencamp, Tom Petty, Stevie Wonder, Eddie Vedder, Ron Wood, Neil Young and more — pay homage to Dylan and the songs that made him a legend.
